Bette Jean Perkins, 78, of Gladstone died Wednesday, Oct. 1, 2008, at the North Kansas City Hospital. She was been cremated under the direction of the Meyers Funeral Chapel Northland in Parkville. A private family committal service is planned at the Ft. McPherson National Cemetery in Brady, Neb.
