Volunteers ready to repair homes in Spring Hill
Christmas will come early to Spring Hill this weekend.
The Spring Hill Christmas in October program will host a work day Saturday and again Oct. 11. Volunteers are needed for both days.
Christmas in October is a volunteer organization which helps rehabilitate the homes of low-income homeowners, primarily the community’s elderly and disabled. The organization also helps military families.
Supplies are all donated through businesses, service organizations and fellow community members in Spring Hill and surrounding communities. Various Christmas in October Spring Hill projects include roofing, general household repairs and improvements, yard work and clean up.
