Couple Married In Fontana Church

Julie Farris of Linn Valley and Jeffrey Moore of Paola were married in a double-ring ceremony July 12 in the Fontana Christian Church.

The bride is the daughter of Jim and Glenna Farris of La Cygne. The groom is the son of Ted and Lois Moore of Paola.

The Rev. Andrew Lucas performed the ceremony.

Sage and white were the wedding colors.

Monica Noll was the soloist, singing “Completely.”

Jim Farris escorted his daughter to the altar. She wore a white halter-top gown with beads and a full skirt with layers, accented with a train. Her bouquet was of white roses.

Janet Schultz was the matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Linda Medlin and Shelly Moore. They wore sage-colored floor-length gowns.

Ronnie Moore served as best man. George Holtz and Jeff Hendrickson were groomsmen.

Ushers were Keith Slyter and Robby Hendrickson.

A reception was held at the Paola Eagles Club.

The couple took a wedding trip to Alaska.

Mrs. Moore is a 1994 graduate of Prairie View High School. She is employed at Epoch Group in Leawood. Her husband is a 1989 graduate of Paola High School and is employed at Taylor Forge Engineered Systems in Paola.

They are making their home in Linn County.
