60 years of marriage celebrated over lunch
Bill and Colleen Ewan of Paola celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with a family lunch Aug. 16 at their Miami County farm.
Bill Ewan and Colleen Metz were married July 22, 1948, in Olathe. They have lived in Paola for 33 years.
They are retired from Landmark Title Co. and do volunteer work for the Miami County Swan River Museum.
The couple have three children, a daughter, Susan Dunaway of Huntington Beach, Calif., and two sons, Bob Ewan of Olathe and Tom Ewan of Paola. They also have three grandchildren.
