Movie buffs are in luck this weekend. Louisburg Library is kicking off its movie club Saturday night.

The Spiderwick Chronicles will be shown for free on a big screen at 7 p.m. Saturday at the Louisburg Library, 206 S. Broadway St.

Attendees are encouraged to bring their own snacks to the movie. Children must be attended by an adult.

Movies will be shown the first Saturday of each month, and those attending this month’s showing will get to vote on the next movie, said Adult Services Coordinator Holly Gillogly.

The Spiderwick Chronicles is 97 minutes long and rated PG. Anyone with questions should call the library, 837-2217.
