James McDonald Higgins, 83, Platte City, died Sunday, July 6, 2008, at Saint Luke’s Hospital. Funeral services were held Wednesday, July 9, 2008, at the First Christian Church of Platte City. Burial with military honors was in Platte City Cemetery. The family suggests contributions to the American Heart Association or the First Christian Church of Platte City.
