Early on, it became quite clear who was going to win the July 9 triangular swim meet at the Miami County Family YMCA.

Behind 27 first-place finishes, the Miami County Vipers dominated their home meet. They nearly doubled the point total of runner-up Ottawa. The Vipers finished with 800 team points, while Ottawa had 436. Topeka Country Club placed third with 157.
