Wendy Sunderland and Jason Kinder, both of Paola, announce their engagement. The bride-elect is a registered nurse and employed as a quality manager at St. Luke’s South in Overland Park. Her fiance is employed by Design Mechanical as a sheet metal journeyman. They are planning an Aug. 9 wedding in the United Methodist Church in Paola. They will make their home in Paola.
