Charles T. Prettyman Jr.
1938-2008
Charles “Bud” Prettyman Jr., 70, Warrensburg, Mo., died peacefully Friday, July 11, 2008, at Missouri Veterans Home. He had lived in Louisburg until 2003.
He was born Jan. 22, 1938, to Charles Sr. and Anna E. Patterson Prettyman.
He was a member of John P. Hand Post 250 of the American Legion.
He was formerly employed at Hunt Midwest. He served in the U.S. Army for six years.
He was baptized Oct. 31, 1948, at First Baptist Church of Overland Park.
He was preceded in death by his brother Larry.
He survived by his children, Cindy White of Blue Springs, Doug Prettyman and Steve Prettyman, both of Lone Jack and Peggy Prettyman of North Kansas City; nine grandchildren, one great-grandchild, a brother Jerry of Louisburg, five sisters, Dolores Davis of Harrisonville, Mo., Dorothy Allmon of Hermitage, Mo., Phylis Hedenskog of Gladstone, Mo., and Jackie Hite and Mary Ham of Lone Jack, Mo.
