1922-2008
Sylvia “Irene” Harris, 86, Louisburg, died Monday, July 14, 2008, at her home.
She was born Feb. 15, 1922, in a log house on White River in Arkansas. She was the fourth daughter of Alburtus and Ida Dewey. She had four sisters and five brothers.
She married William C. Harris on July 3, 1940, and together they had seven children. She was a founding member of the Assembly of God Church in Louisburg. She was a foster parent to four girls.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her brothers and sisters and five of her children.
Survivors include her daughters, Connie Zumbrunnen and Marilyn Leach, both of Louisburg; nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. today at the Faith Chapel Assembly of God church in Louisburg. Burial will follow at the Louisburg Cemetery.
The family suggests memorial contributions to Faith Chapel Assembly of God or to Hospice care of Kansas.
