Musicians will participate in Masonic marching band camp

Two Louisburg musicians were selected to attend the 25th-annual Kansas Masonic All-State High School Marching Band camp this summer.

Gregory Agnew and Chris Agnew will be among the 216 Kansas students participating in the camp at Emporia State University from July 22 to 26.

The five-day camp ends with performances at the Shrine Bowl parade in the morning and at pre-game and halftime at the Kansas East-West Shrine Bowl football game July 26.

Gregory Agnew will be playing the French horn, while Chris Agnew will be playing the alto saxophone.

Sponsorship for each student is paid by local Masonic Lodges.
